Defence Collective Singapore

We aim to design three distinct sites using the motif of boxes, inspired by the form and function of time capsules. These box-like structures will serve as both architectural and experiential elements that encapsulate Singapore’s rich history. Through interactive and engaging features, the design seeks to evoke a sense of nostalgia while encouraging the collection, preservation, and sharing of personal and collective memories. The spatial arrangement and material choices will reflect various eras and milestones of Singapore’s past, turning each site into a tactile and immersive storytelling space.
